Winter
> Has six teeth. Four on top, two on bottom. All came at within a two day period. Only fussed one night.
> Loves belly time. Will roll and shift all around the room.
> Not into sleeping as long as sister. Too much going on!
> First to put Cheerios in mouth. Even with those chubby hands!
> Talk, talk, talk.

Simone
> Has three teeth. One on top, two on bottom.
> Prefers sitting up as opposed to belly time.
> Even tho she loves to play with smaller toys, she was not as quick to pick up the Cheerios and get them in her mouth.
> Lets Winter do all the talking.

Both will be crawling soon. Very soon. Oy!

Emerging Personalities at 8 months old

Winter

class clown : seems to get a kick out of making you laugh
noisy!
bottomless pit : Daddy will have to get a second job to feed this one!
good sleeper
lazy : would prefer to watch his sister play instead of playing himself (except he can hold his own bottle already and Simone cannot, go figure!)

Simone

quiet and easy going
intense
loves to analyze in detail : reaches for everything
grunts when she wants more : so cute!
good sleeper!
kicks her feet with excitement
loves textures : especially Daddy's beard
keeps up with her brother spoonful for spoonful!

Perhaps Winter looks a little like Mommy?

I came across this photo of me at about 8 months of age. It was taken in Wildwood in 1970 in my parents' Volvo. Why I am located in the front seat, I don't know. I always wondered what the car seats looked like back then. Now we know!

Does anyone think Winter looks a little like me after seeing this photo?
